Ken Hertz and I hosted our 12th Big Bang forum in Santa Monica on May 14th. Big Bang is about discovering and discussing compelling new ideas in media, marketing, entertainment and technology, with an emphasis on convergence and disruption.
The latest edition featured a new venue and a new structure. We dubbed this session “inunData,” and we set out to explore the latest developments in targeted marketing, cognitive computing, and so-called “big data.” It seems — these days — as though we are all swimming in data. We invited three presenters to discuss the latest developments in data analysis, and the latest tools being employed to make sense of — not just collect — actionable information about the connected universe.
